Company History

Newark, Ohio is currently the county seat of Licking County. It is located approximately thirty-five miles east of Columbus. Newark Monument Company has been an established local area business since just after the turn of the century. Early business records date back to 1928, when the it was located at 138 E. Main near the East Main Street Bridge.

Newark Monument Company is currently located on The Square across from the beautiful, historic courthouse building. In 1808, residents constructed Licking County's first courthouse. It was located on the same site as Licking County's courthouse today.
